Video Library and Divx files..
Hi all, I have several files in a directory, some are mpg and some are divx (avi extension). Only the mpg files are showing up in the listing under Library -> Video Library.
What do I need to do to make the divx files show up? Or are I out of luck with these files? Thanks, Eric |

I play divx and xvid files all the time. Make sure the file extension is .avi. I don't remember having to do anything special to get them to show up.

Same here. All I had to do was install the divx codec on my client machine.
Files play fine, I do it all the time. Like mlbdude said, make sure the extension is AVI. Other extentions might work, I've never tried. All mine are .AVI. Jason Quote:

avi import
In the sage properties file there is a line:
seeker/library_import_filename_extensions= make sure avi is on that list Jello |

I figured it out, I changed the directory where Sage records to thinking I would just dump those into that same directory. For some reason that didn't work so I created a new directory for that and then added the first directory into the import section on the bottom of that settings page. They show up just fine now.
I do have one extra file that shows up in the list called 'video_ts' but its not in those two directories. |

That extra file is left over from any DVD you had/have in your drive I believe.
