Having HW trouble, think i need a new card

Ok..so i spent a couple hours last night trying to configure my new Tuner card, I got a Hauppauge PVR-150, i know it's not the best of the best but i had a USB one without hw decoding on it, so I'm hoping i'll get better quality out of this. My question is basically...well not a question just need suggestions.

My first problem was that i installed the PCI card and had trouble opening anything because it was conflicting with the old USB tuner, so i ran the program that removed everything including INF files. Then i restarted and installed the PCI drivers and the Hauppauge software. Well, i opened up WINtv and there was no channels, all just black fuzzy, it wasn't snow fuzzy though, but there was no audio at all. I opened up SageTV and it found the new tuner and i configured it but same thing in there. Well...next I plugged the cable line into a 13" tv and the cable is fine, all channels were crystal clear. Ok...i pretty much tried ever configuration i could possibly think of and i didn't get anywhere, with it, i even hooked up my satelite box to the s-video and i was getting the SAME thing, even after i switch the output, same thing. The only other thing i tried was switching PCI slots, and still the same output. Anything else i can try? or do you think maybe i just caught a bad card?

From your other topic, it looks like you've returned the PVR-150, but it might have just been a bad card. Since it didn't work with the Hauppauge software, the next step would be to contact Hauppauge support. It probably won't work in SageTV until Hauppauge's own software is able to use the card. (Of course, you would have to exit Hauppauge's TV software before using SageTV.)
