Not seeing new Tuner
Let me start out by saying I am in Australia.
I was previously using BeyondTV with a VistaView Saber 2020 (which is obviously an analog card). Due to the fact that BeyondTV does not support DVB-T, I have decided to switch to SageTV. I purchased a highly recommended card here in Australia, the DNTV Live! Dual PCI-E Hybrid S2 card, which is a dual tuner DVB-T card. I successfully installed the card and am able to watch live TV on the HyberMedia software supplied, and the picture quality is fantastic! During the installation, I pulled out my analog VW Saber 2020 card to replace it with the new card as my macine only had the 1 PCI-E slot. The problem at this stage was that the new card would not fit in my PCI-E slot due to a funky little part at the bottom that would not clear some capacitors. So I just tried to install it in my PCI-E Video Card slot as my motherboard has an onboard NVidia Geforce card. This seemed to work just fine. Now to my problem. When I installed SageTV, when it comes to the section to Setup Video Sources, the only options it shows is 7162 BDA Analog CaptureO and 7162 BDA Analog Capture1. These were the 2 tuners that were on the VistaView, which is not even installed in my machine any more. No where do I get the option for my new DNTV Live card. How can I force SageTV to see the new card and not the old card? Thanks! |

The only other thing I could suggest would be to make sure it didn't get added to the mmc/ignore_encoders line...if it did, there may be a reason for it (unsupported).
