SageTV's instruction re 6.1 upgrade (update)

The SageTV download page has this slightly unclear instruction... do they mean we must upgrade to 6.0 then again to 6.1?

"If you are a current customer upgrading to Version 6.1, please make sure you update all versions of your installed SageTV software for everything to work correctly."

I think that means you must be running the same version on your server and all clients + placeshifter.
