Will SAGE support this PVR card
Just ran across this card and it sounds rather interesting. Supposedly, it'll power up your PC from S3 or S5 mode to record a scheduled show, then shut it down when it's done. It's the VideoMate TV Gold Plus card fom Compro. It has a Philips SAA7133/7134 video encoder with ADC chip. Not sure if this supports hardware MPEG or not, or if Sage supports it.
Here's a link to some more info: http://www.comprousa.com/products/vmtvgoldplus.htm Thanks Andy |

Sage only supports hardware encoding cards. The cards Sage will support are listed on its web page. If a card uses the same chipset as one of those cards it MAY work but not guaranteed.

I don't think it work rigth now with WinFast PVR2000 even know it has Conexant CX23416 onboard this card is has setup the Conexant CX23416 as a HOST chip and Conexant CX2388X chip allow for dual mode there one other like this Provideo Multimedia PV258T.
But with seeing a graph of it it hard to tell but if I'm rigth and they have done what I think there have done the yes it could be done being the graph need use the Multiplexer pins in stade of the capture pin But the AOpen VA2000MAX-SNT6 should world Last edited by SHS; 12-04-2003 at 09:35 AM. |
