SageMC Can't change Channel using FCL too

I think I know what is causing this problem and I think I know what I can do to fix it. I'm using FindComparativeElement to select a channel by channel number. And that requires that the list I'm getting the channels from be sorted. I thought that GetAllChannels would get them in a sorted sequence but I suspect it does not. Since I don't want to sort the channel list every time a channel change is made I'm going to create a variable to hold the channel list in the media player and just sort it once.

Anyway I thought I would let you know I think I am making progress on it.

OK try this version it appears to work for me but when I went back to this I wasn't getting the same results again. In my case I could tune to one other channel once but not again and it didn't matter what channel I wanted it didn't want to work. With this version I can tune to any channel on the allowed list and the dialog pops up for any other channel - the way I intended it to work. I tried both channels greater than 100 and those below 100 and it appears to work now.

If this works for you I will change the default STV version as well as the code is the same in both for this. And upload the finished version then without all of the debug logging in it. Note: this version still has the debug logging in it so you will most likely want to change it one more time then.

I am so sorry. I saw the post when I was not at home to set it up and lost track of it. I'll test it out tonight before I tear my server apart. As of late I have not been running SageMC (it isn't installed) and have been using the default STV. If it isn't too difficult, I would rather test in that environment. Otherwise, I will install SageMC prior to reinstalling my OS with the motherboard swap out I am doing. I am trying to keep my SageTV as "lite" as possible these days.

Here is a version of the Default STV version to try with the code changes. It does not have any of the debug logic so I may have to add it if you still have problems.

No the version above for the default STV will be included as is. The SageMC version writes many more debug lines to the Sage debug log file than I want so I will remove those. Other than that the SageMC version is complete just like the default version. I will however delete both of them from the posts above when I fix the Download section versions.
