SageMC Can't change Channel using FCL too

I am having issues changing channels to anything lower than 100 on one of my MVPs. Any pointers?

I am running 6.1.. and using serial changers from Paterson Tech controlling D11-100 DirecTV boxes. Also using SageMC version of FCL.

Please tell let me know how we can trap it. It is working in the guide, just not tv playback.

Can SageMC change without the FCL loaded on that MVP? If it can then the import must not have worked. Do you have separate STV's for each MVP or are they sharing the same one? If they have separate ones then could you upload the broken one and I'll see if it imported correctly. I don't think FCL would affect this but it is possible since I put code in the MediaPlayer OSD as well as the guide. But I've never seen this before myself.

Bob,

Thanks for the fast response. I just reset to default SageMC and channel change works. I am running one other plugin, MovieTimes.

Thanks again for the help!

Sounds like it didn't import correctly. It is working on your other MVP correctly?

Import was done on the server. I can test with place shifter...

Broken there too.. You suggest trying again?

Thanks,

Possibly It may also be that the link points have changed with the latest version of SageMC. I'm assuming your using 6.3.2c?

I just imported it and I see one link point that didn't work but I don't know if that is causing your problem or not but I'll see if anything else isn't working.

Bob,

Just tried reimporting and it is still not working. Only SageMC and FCL. I appreciate your time, it is no rush though. We can use the guide or the mini guide.

Thanks again,

B

Sorry, am using 6.3.2c. Should have mentioned that up front.

I've got a fix for the one link I could see not working but I don't know if this will fix it for you - you will have to try it and let me know - sorry about that. If this doesn't work I will have to add additional debug logging to the import code so that I can see what isn't linking correctly - so may be a couple of days.

Sorry Bob, it didn't fix it. Are you able to reproduce?

Haven't tried that yet. I just imported it as saw that it didn't link everywhere it was suppose to. Now I need to put in more Logging to see if anything else isn't linking. Didn't have an opportunity to actually test it last night hopefully will have a window tonight.

I appreciate the time on the plugin, but please prioritize appropriately. :-) I do have workarounds.

Thanks,

B

I'm going to have to add some debug logging to the code because I cannot reproduce this problem - beyond the link that I already found. I need to add some to the install code anyway because I'm not confident that everything is still linking correctly anyway. Hopefully I'll have something for you in a couple of days.

Thanks Bob, please let me know what else I can do. I was also able to confirm that the problem exists in the default STV with your STVi loaded too. Like I said, no rush.

I have my suspicions about what might be causing this. Hopefully with the version included here I've added enough debug logging to find the problem. I don't expect anything to be fixed with this version I just added debug logging so let me know how this goes. Post the log file here or I can send you a PM with my email address if you prefer.

I'll post here, do I need to turn on logging or will it create a separate one?

It just uses the standard SageTV log so you will need to turn it on like the FAQ documents.

Sorry been busy with changes to my VideoEdit plugin and haven't gotten to this yet. I'll see if I can work on it this weekend however.
