Right side of DVD is cut off
I've tried it on a couple of different DVDs and had the same problem. Its displaying the 16:9 movie in a 4:3 format, and cutting off the right ~1/3 of the video. I've never seen or heard of this one, so if anyone has any ideas...

What aspect ration setting have you chosen?

I've tried all of them (Source, Fill, 16:9 and 4:3), doesn't affect the problem at all. I didn't have this problem in 6.0.19 or V5 or earlier.

Go to Detailed Setup > Multimedia > Aspect Ratio Mode.
Make sure its set to Source. Go to Detailed Setup > Multimedia > Display Aspect Ratio Settings. Make sure its set to 4:3.

I'm having the exact same problem. My TV is 16x9 client and it's displaying 4x3 and shifting the video to the right. So I only see 2/3 of the picture. missnig the right hand side. This same video plays flawlessly on my sagetv HD extend (HD-100)...any ideas or help is greatly appreciated.
I have it set to source aspect ration and my display aspect ratio is 16x9. If I change it to 4x3 the picture just gets smaller, but it's still cut off. |
