Girder Tutorial for Dummies?

Gear: Fusion hdtv remote, firefly remote

Goals: Use either remote (preferably firefly) with SageTV, Itunes, PowerDVD.

I can not for the life of me figure out how to use girder or any other software, that LM keymap thing, or anything. I have loaded .gml profiles, etc. I need a step-by-step tutorial for use with Sage6.

I hope it's not taboo, but the front row software on apple was a revelation. It worked so well and easily. Is there anything comparable for windows?
