IR Blaster sends each digit 2x

Hi, I had been using the IR blaster w/ the PVR 150 for a Hughes STB with no issues, using code 0016. I upgraded my sat STB, which also takes Hughes IR codes, and the box reads the IR commands, however now it repeats each digit. So if I do the test of send '123', my box takes it as '112233'. I have tried all the codes, and the box can be controlled by a lot of them, but it always repeats the digit.

Anyone come across this before, or how I might adjust the blaster to send the digit one time? Thanks

I guess this is a bump. But I was speaking to Hauppuage about this. They said somehow the irremote.ini file may have gotten corrupted (I doubt) or needs to be reinstalled. Does anyone know, is there a way to adjust the signal that is sent via this file - i.e., they said it may be the press of remote down sends a signal, and up sends a signal - so am getting 2x (strange did not happen on my prior box-and it is sage itself sending the signal??).

I asked about the learning functionality of the blaster - code seems to be written into the config software, but is not done (they are working on Vista and other issues first). Say that may work later this year, FYI.

I think thats what I need. My blaster to "learn" the commands. Even though my STB says its supported I hope I can get it working, because then it would be "perfect"
