Can't get TV signal with Happague 250
I downloaded the free trial of Sage TV and can't seem to get a TV signal. I've got the cable hooked up and there were no install errors, but just can't get a TV signal.
All the software runs and the TV app loads just no picture. Anyone have a clue what to do.

Did you try WinTV before trying SageTV to make sure the tuner works with the Hauppauge software?
If it does work with WinTV, did you close the Hauppauge software before running SageTV? You should just have the drivers + SageTV active. You've got the cable coax connected directly to the TV tuner input on the 250? What choices did you make when configuring the source within SageTV? - Andy

Same problem: worked itself out...
I had the same exact problem a few weeks ago. After a restart Sage would not display ANY signal from my PVR-250 card. WinTV worked fine and I was ready to watch the super bowl in WinTV, but after another desperate restart, Sage started working again. Don't give up so quickly. Not exactly sure what the problem is, but rest assured it DOES work (usually).
