Viewing Imported VIdeos by folder name?
Howdy,
I have a main folder that I put my video files in I want to view in SageTV. However I want to have them sorted by folder to make them easier to navigate. Problem is it seems that Sage just searches inside all the folders but then shows all the videos on on the one page. Is there any way for Sage to show the folder names so I can then drill down to the one I want instead of just showing all the files from all the folders in one, big list? Also, I'm using Sage 5 if that matters. Thanks. |

click on the 'Folder' button on the top, or use the << or >> to change the views until you get a view by folder...

Well, actually it looks like it works in List mode as well but it doesn't show as a folder unless there's more than 2 items in it.
If I have a folder called X with 1 video file in it, it just shows me the video file on the screen. If I add a second video file to the X folder, then it shows X (2 files) on the screen. Any way to make it shows the folder name even if there's only 1 file in it? Just want it to be consistant. |

Version 5's video library is limited to showing folders this way -- if there is only a single video in the folder, selecting the folder will select that video.
Version 6 handles folder differently & you can browse into folders w/single videos. - Andy

OK. Was jus thoping there was a setting somewhere I could change to make it show the folder even if there was only 1 file in it.
But I guess not. Thanks. |
