Sage sometimes doesn't group into folders
I have SageTV set to group shows. Unfortuanately it doesn't always do this. This especially happens when moving shows to the Library. I have a favorite for "Boxing" and I end up with three or four folders with two or three boxing related shows in each folder. Also, I have a favorite for ST:TNG and move my favorite episodes to the Library... but it doesn't group any of them into folders in the Library. I also am recording all of the Taken episodes and move them to the Library. For the first three episodes it placed them in one folder, now all of them are listed separately. Is this a known issue that will be fixed in 2.0 or is there something else going on?

I have a problem with this also. As I understand it, all you have to do is enable the catagorize epg in the sage.propeties file right? None of my shows are grouped and I did this. This is the second PC I have used with sage and neither one has done this.

I don't know about the Library (maybe it never works there), but for normal recordings it does not group based on title. It is using an "intelligent" method to do it. So you will see all kinds of odd things like first runs and reruns grouped separately and other things. I think it is using a part of the algorithm that IR uses.
