Issue with 5 minutes of audio at beginning of recording gone, video is fine?
Hi all,
I am running Vista with SageTV v5, and two ATI PCI TV Wonder 550's in my system. Both tuners are able to tune properly in live TV and record, but I went to watch a show earlier that was recorded and the first five minutes of audio were just not there, even though the video played fine. After exactly 5 minutes and 2 seconds, the audio came on and was perfectly synch'd. I checked through other recordings and found most of them were fine, but one other had the EXACT same issue with the EXACT same timings. I read something on another forum about someone having a similar issue but with both audio and video being lopped off (it was determined if SageTV can't get a tuner going properly, it re-tries 5 minutes later, which would explain the identical timing). Does anyone know of a resolution to this issue and how I can fix it? Thanks! -GoldenTiger
