PVR-500 not seen by device manager

Hiya

I ordered a new PVR-500 (The MCE kit) and tried to install in my WinXP Sp2 box last night. Device manager wouldn't even pick up that I had new hardware, Sage certainly didn't see it.

I suspect the card is dead but before I return to the vendor could anyone tell me if they have this card working with XP (as opposed to MCE) ? I'm sure the vendor's going to ask me if I was running MCE ;-)

I have two PVR-500's working on my WinXP pro Sp2 box. I'm in the US but don't think that will make a difference.

I wouldnt expect the fact that they are NTSC vs PAL tuners to come into play until well after they are recognised by the operating system

I've emailed them and crossed my fingers
