Lost on QAM
Ok, I've read a number of threads on QAM in Sage, and I'm still confused. My sage machine has a pair of PVR-250's and a Dvico Fusion 5 RT Lite. Using the fusion software I can see the QAM channels, but I can't seem to get these in sage. Is this possible, and if so, how?

The Fusion card does not support QAM outside of Dvico's own software. The only work around is something like this. But that requires putting the card in a separate computer in your network and purchasing separate software from EVO.
Another way to get QAM in Sage is the HDhomerun being talked about in this thread. It's a separate device with dual tuners that you connect to your router and is supported by Sagetv. I'm using one, and once you configure it, it's pretty seamless in Sagetv. The other QAM tuner supported by Sage is the AutumnWave / OnAir USB HDTV Tuner. |
