Record from RCA Cables

HI Everyone,

I'm thinking of getting Sage TV with the PVR 250 PCI Card. I was wondering it you could set the timer to record through the RCA video cables rather then the Coax Cable input. I have a Directv RCA Reciever. (Model drd303ra)
Is there a Directv PCI tuner card that I could get that's compatibly with Sagetv that I could directly connect my sattelite box to?

You can use any input that is supported by the PVR250, Coax, Composite or S-video.

There's no DirecTV PCI card that removes the need for the satellite receiver (at least one that's legal anyway) so you would have to connect your DirecTV receiver to the PVR-250 via the composite or S-video inputs. Then you would use either serial control or an IR blaster to control the channel changes.

serial control works great - so much faster channel chenges than the blaster route, for me at least.
