Sage can't see SOME files on NAS

OK, odd problem here. I've had two places my media is stored for quite some time now:

SageTV server - using UNC paths
ReadyNAS - also using UNC paths

All the shares require username/password. I've got a couple shares on each that are imported into Sage. Well recently I filled up my Sage server so I've started ripping DVDs to my ReadyNAS. Seemed all fine an dandy, until, sometime, and I'm not really sure when, Sage can't see new stuff on the ReadyNAS.

In fact, if I remove a share, where Sage could formerly see files, and add it back Sage mysteriously finds nothing new, fails to list the share in the "Folder" view, yet can still see/play the files on this (otherwise non-existant-to-Sage) share. Also, Sage is unable to browse the network for shares, but if I specify the share it will go there.

I wonder if it's not some issue with Java 1.6, beyond that I'm running the latest V6 build on client and server.

Well one variable down, I uninstalled and reinstalled with the included java (1.4) and the problem persists. None of the new files are seen by Sage.

I don't see anything problematic in the logs, in fact I don't see anything in the logs. There's a "Sat 2/3 10:40:01.640 Seeker is starting the library import scan..." after initial startup, but then never again, not even after invoking a refresh or adding/changing import options. Also the logs never mention Sage ever looking at the location in question.

Simple. You need to run the sagetv service and have that service login with the account you have on the NAS... I just finished setting up my NAS yesterday.

I do, like I said, I even went so far as to logon to my Sage server using the sage account and I could see everything on the NAS. Yet for some reason part of Sage can't (seeker I believe) while other parts (playback) can.

I have a ReadyNAS600 and have the same problem. However it also affects drive letter mapped directories as well. I had ripped a movie to my local E: drive which is an import and recording directory. The movie did not show up in my imported directory although I scanned it a couple of times. I then tried copying the directory to my ReadyNAS (which was mapped with a UNC), refreshed the imported media directories and the movie still did not show up. I can browse to the folder and select the files but they do not display in my imported videos.

Running Sage 6.0.19.10 with Java 1.5.0_10 on WinXP SP2.

I have the solution my problem. I was attempting to find imported videos by the Videos by DVD view. I noticed that some of my DVD video folders did not have the VIDEO_TS subfolder under it. I created this subfolder under the DVD video directory, moved all the files the the VIDEO_TS folder, refreshed imported media and the DVDs now show up (which is also in the appendix int the user's manual if I would have bothered to read it first).
