SageTV conflicts with HDCP?
I'm having trouble with SageTV and HDCP. Here are the symptoms, which only appear if Sage is running, either in the foreground or in sleep mode:
1. Cyberlink HD Advisor advises me that an HDCP link is not present. 2. Cyberlink PowerDVD HD edition closes a few seconds after starting to play an HD-DVD 3. Netflix video player, which relies heavily on content protection, crashes if I enter full-screen, but plays just fine in its default, tiny, window. All of these activities work great if SageTV is not running at all. Question is, is this a systematic problem with SageTV, or is this a configuration problem specific to me? If this is a systematic problem, then I think that Frey Technologies has a serious problem on their hands. My configuration: SageTV Media Center 6.0.19.120 - FSE enabled - VMR enabled - 3D acceleration enabled Java JRE 1.4.2_13 IE7 (all updates installed) WMP11 (all updates installed) nVidia 7600GT, with driver 93.91 [Edit: 93.71] HDMI connection between video card and TV Windows XP Pro SP2, all updates installed Intel Core 2 Duo 2.3 GHz [Edit: 2.4GHz] 2GB RAM 2 ATI TV Wonder 650 (OTA HD channels only) 2x500GB SATA HDD Last edited by corykim; 01-23-2007 at 10:32 PM. |

Have you tried it without FSE activated?
