Avermedia M179 support

Hi, does Sage plan on support for the Avermedia M179? The MythTV guys are close to having it work, and getting lots of help from the Avermedia engineers, and it has a hardware MPEG-2 encoder like PVR-X50 cards.

It reportedly works quite well and is MUCH cheaper than the Hauppauge line.

Thanks,
Mike

We've already tested it and it works. I believe however that it's an OEM card only and I don't know how much support is available for the card. What kind of prices did you see for the card?

Also note, that it's probably been discontinued because all new versions of MCE have an FM Tuner now, (plus Aver says it's a clearance item..)
