Unhappy Occasional Timescale Issues with Recordings

I have seen recordings from time to time where the video skips minutes ahead. Skipping back shows that there is video there and often can be played. Sometimes there is just a gap that is skipped over. It appears like the video is playing in FF.

Has anyone else seen this issues with recorded programs? Is there a workaround/fix/known hardware or software issue?

Regards,
Rob

I've seen some timeline issues with ABC-HD recorded with an HDHomeRun via QAM. Don't know if it's still a problem, or who's it was. I'll know in a few when I watch the past 7 seven days recordings'...just got back (from SHOT, not CES).

Noticed the same thing with a UK DVB-T recording last night. Couldn't skip past the adverts as I ended up at random points through the video.

Ditto on HD recording of 24 over the past 2 nights on a HDHomerun via QAM. Also getting the wild jumps. Where it starts running and skipping every 15-30 seconds. Like it can't follow the timeline. After a rough area it will return to normal.
