Anyone using the PVR250 MCE card?

If so, what drivers are you running with the card and SageTV?

Is the PVR-250 MCE the same thing as the OEM PVR-250
which has model number 48432 or a different product?

I have a driver configuration that sort of works.

Since the MCE seems to be a -16 card it must not be the
same thing as a model 48432.

I have the PVR-250MCE model number 28552 and I can not get it to work with SageTV but it does work with Dscaler and Beyond TV 3. This card has a Conexant CN23880 and CN23416 encoder. BeyondTV and Dscaler seem to be using the CN23880 directly instead of using the -16 because the CPU usage is very high. I was hoping that this card would be a winner because is has a 23880 for live TV that works with Dscaler and a 23416 mpeg encoder that I was hoping to use for SageTV.

I guest they did change the design after all the board should be base on Conexant BlackBird Design CX23880 - CX23416 but Hauppauge code name as Roslyn which I have not even scaen any picture of this new card from Hauppauge and Brad (HTPC News) as the old design.

I unstand that many of the PC OEMs are using Conexant BlackBird Design for Media Center 2004, which does support a 'Live Preview' mode, But MCE 2004 does not take advantage of this feature.

Looking over the Hauppauge INF it look like this may be going Retail as well.

I think Jeff just use Capture pin and if I'm rigth I belive this is going need be setup way diff in stade of using the Capture pin so this mean jeff need to do it the Multiplexer way.
Kind like some thing like this but name will be diff but if and gen idea.

The Conexant BlackBird Design CX23880 - CX23416 seems to be what the Avermedia M150 is also based on by looking at those drivers.

Can you do with this by download this file
http://www.shspvr.com/graph_build/do...ltiplexter.grf
Build it base on what you have read done below but use the MPEG-2 TS pin by conn to the MPEG-2 Demultiplexter then Intervideo Audio Decoder and Intervideo Video Decoder like what showing my Graph.
The capture and Preview are AVI pins
What really odd is there no FM Audio pin

This is really making me feel like I'm not going to have a good day tommorrow when(hopefully) my M150 arrives.

SHS:
If it doesn't work out of box, what is your opinion on Jeff being able to add support to SageTV for Blackbird style cards like the M150?

Well if DRH can make the MPEG-2 Demultiplexter work then should no problem as far jeff add support for both card.

I did not include the mpeg demux stuff to simplify the drawing. I am trying to get direct output from the CX23880 to work first in graphedit. The FM is an option in the tuner properties (tuning mode) and gets passed out like the TV audio. SHS how does one get the capture pin AVI to output to VRM9 render. I tried direct connection to VRM9 but only get black screen (the filters did except this connection).
