svideo-> to composite problem ( gray picture no color)
Hello,
I just setup sage tv with an nvidia dualtv. the program works wonderfully with my CRT monitor however when i change the display to a my TV ( tube cant afford LCD at the moment) I get only a gray picture. My video card is an ATI 9600 129mb. I am using the convertor that came with the dual tv so i think that may be the issue.... anyone else gettign issues with this convertor? If im using the wrong setup could someoen advise? Thanks! |

Any idea where they sell these in stores? I'm trying to surprise my wife before she gets home tomorrow with a working media center.

It could also be that the video card still thinks you are using S-Video... Check the tv-out settings on the ATI control panel to confirm that it is set to composite.
(S-video sends grayscale and color info on separate wires, so it is likely what you are seeing is the greyscale 'channel' from the S-video output)

UNfortunately there is not in that form anyway. However I went out and got a new converter at best buy and i have perfect color now. Thanks for the help all. Im curious why the converter that came with the nvidia dualtv does not transfer color correctly. IT has a very crisp black & white picture though...
