Does sage use xmltv.exe?
I just did a fresh format on my sage server... installed the latest version using sage's regular epg options.
I'm seeing xmltv.exe running all the time, which I have never seen on my old install. I'm confused. |

can anyone confirm or deny xmltv.exe running on their system as a process?

I am running Sage V6.0.15.115 with MC 6.3.1 and use xmltv voor epg grabbing.
I do not have xmltv.exe running as a process jan |

If you're using the native Guide data, no I don't believe Sage uses that.

hmm... well then I have a problem I guess. Sometimes I can see two or three instances of it in the task manager.
I'm going to have to blame sage for this, as there isn't anything else installed on my server that has anything to do with xmltv... EDIT: I also have ORB installed... I wonder if it's that? Although I don't have any tuner or tv defined in orb. Last edited by Wheemer; 01-13-2007 at 01:34 PM. |

Maybe search your HDD for xmltv and see where it comes from.

Quote:
You should look for other culprits (Process Explorer from sysinternals will show you the location where an exe is run from, and often the parent process that is running it and the command line! -- it's like task manager on steroids!)
