|
Adding 2 more pvr 250's ?
I am planning on adding 2 additional pvr 250's to my system. I have 1 pvr 350 and 1 usb2 installed and working now..is there anything I need to be aware of before I install these two additional one's ? Just trying to plan ahead? I appreciate any advice...

I don't use the 350, but I think you will find a host of people that have had issues combining the 350 and 250s in one system. Most of these issues seem to be driver related. I would recommend starting with a fresh install of windows and use the latest drivers available on shspvr (www.shspvr.com) as a start.

Well, I have had issues, even with the software decoder enabled and the 21177 drivers. Not sure if newer versions will fix it cause I upgraded from the ones on the cd with the same results. When I take one of the two cards out, the system is rock solid stable. I think it's a sage 1.x thing, which will hopefully be fixed.
Of not, I have a PII 400 which I would be more than happy to get up and running to hold my 250 with a client. Does anybody have a 350 in their main system and a 250 in a client? Are you seeing any issues? mikejaner
