Sage (sortof) disappears on sleep

Sage 6.0.19 client is running quite nice for me with the exception of a couple of minor issues. One of them - sometimes if I put Sage in sleep mode (screensaver in FSE mode) the UI disappears and I'm back to the desktop. Occasionally it will be minimized to the task bar and other times not. If I bring up task manager I can see it running. Of course with no UI I have to kill it and restart.

Yes, this also happens to me, same build. However, it is running in the tray and you can dbl-click the tray icon to bring it back up (which is a pain when your mouse is in the entertainment cabinet).

I wonder if you are also letting the computer go into standby occasionally and if Sage sometimes forgets it was in FSE when it comes out of standby? I find that even though I have Sage set to FSE after standby sometimes when I look at the menu option it gives the option to go to full screen, even though I'm already in Fullscreen. However, after "reselecting" fullscreen it actually starts the screen-saver pattern.

What version of JAVA are you using? I'm hoping this isn't a version 1.6 issue. Given the incredible performance I get with 1.6 I don't think I can go back.

Hiya

I think I'm seeing the same issue. I recently turned on service mode to get placeshifter working and since then (I think - I need to check) when I press the power button on my remote, sage gets minimised to system tray (the right hand side) as opposed to the screensaver starting. I tried choosing the ''sleep' option from SageMC's power button and it did the same thing (Implying its not a irremote.ini thing)

I'll try turning off service mode to see how reproducable it is

Edit: I'm on 6.0.19 and Java 1.5.0_06-b05

Tim
