overlay overscan

I have an nvidia fx5200 and am running the purevideo decoders.
My setup has been fine for over a year when recently the power went out while my HTPC was on.

Ever since, there is a difference in the zoom of my overlay video.

When in sage and not playing, the overscan is fine.
Menus and all text is visible.

As soon as video goes into overlay, the "bottom layer" where sage is becomes zoomed in while the overlay video is fine.

The result is the sage info is cut off on the top and bottom yet the video fits fine.

I have gone into overlay settings for the video card during playback and I can zoom it back just fine but it does not save the setting no matter what.

Any ideas?

I had that problem too (also using Fx5200): My solution was to use VMR9 with full screen exclusive...

I think that it only occured if the aspect ratio video zoom settings in sage were not 100%.
