2 MCE IR Receivers Quad blasting with HIP

Has anyone set this up yet? I am getting 4 DirecTV sat receivers in next week and would like to set up IR blasting temporarily until USB solution arrives.

I have 2 MCE IR receivers to control 4 blasting ports.

If it hasn't been done, I'll do my best to document the experience. Everything I found on the boards talks about no more than 2 STBs.
