PlaceShifter Limitations?

I downloaded and installed the new PlaceShifter. Setup was a bit difficult (would be nice to have included a PDF Setup Guide) but I believe I have it working.

I'm using the trial. I can play music, even play my recored and archived video in my imported folder.

I can NOT play any DVD's I have on my HD (in imported video folder.) They play fine from the 'Server'. Is there a setting I'm missing or is the trial crippled?

Placeshifter can't play ripped DVDs. I asked the same in a different thread. If you want the movies to play, you can always transcode them to a different format. However, you'll lose the menus.
