I did some research and understand that Bob usually gives the best for TV, Weave for DVD.
I tried the Elecard but took it off after the trial expired. I would be interested to know how the various modes work out for you and what kind of video card you are using and with what options enabled. I have a theory that the software deinterlacing features dont do much if you allready have your hardeware tweaked up to deinterlace, but I'm not sure. I have never really seen a BIG difference in deinterlacing except between the various codecs. mike/

I use Elecard Weave. Bob looks good but I get aliasing on some images.
Also, I found the results best if I set SoftwareDeinterlace to 0 in Elecard registry key. With those setting I get a sharp picture and little smearing or blurring during motion scenes. If you are hooking up to a HDTV that is where you will get real benefits from DScaler.
