National EPG Data

The National EPG data for the US is now available. Every Zip Code in the United States now has a local lineup. Please test for your zip code and give us your feedback.

We appreciate everyone's patience with this support and please feel free to spread the word! We will be making more posts and updating the website in the next day or so.

My zip code 96818 does not work. I used TRIAL as the access code and entered my zip code but only get the XMLTV Lineup and Local Broadcast-Antenna as my choices. Help!

Wally,

I think you are going to have to disable the XMLTV plugin before trying your zip code again. While SageTV is not running open your properties file and delete the line: epg/epg_import_plugin, save and then restart SageTV. That should do the trick.

All I seem to be getting is "No Data" for zip 37027! I have data before today but I think that is left over from the plug-in. I have removed the plug-in from the properties file and restarted several times. How can I force a reload of the EPG information now? The system information says next update in almost 24 hours.

Disregard, problem has been found and corrected. Apparrently, I was editing the properties file with SageTV active.

Thank You

Go into Channel Setup
Enable and re-Disable (or Disable and then re-Enable) any channel
Exit Channel Setup

That'll force an EPG update.

Was hoping that the national EPG might fix this, but my SciFi channel feed is still wrong-- zip is 91103, Holly St. Village Apts, and it shows the west coast schedule, but I get the east coast feed over my cable. Basically means that anything "intelligently" recorded is wrong.

Does Zap2it show the right times for SciFi for your zipcode? Since Frey buys it EPG data from Zap2it(Tribune), they should be the same. If not maybe there is some kind of process to report a programming guide error to Zap2it. If Zap2it shows the correct time for your zip then maybe Frey can do something about it thru their contract.

Nope, doesn't show the right time. I complained to them about it back when I first got Sage, never heard anything back from them.

Jim,

Can you e-mail me the exact problem with as much information as possible to reproduce and I'll send an e-mail to Zap2it. Then they usually contact the cable company to see if they can straighten it out. Send the e-mail to info@freytechnologies.com.
