I also never saw this with the default mvp.bin for v5. However as soon as I updated with the alpha mvp.bin I started getting the "bursts," "beeps," "blips," whatever...

The alpha mvp.bin was so very much better connectivity wise though for my mvp connecting through a wireless adapter that it is worth it.

I also never saw it once in V5, but it's very apparent in V6.
