Two New Passive 7 Series...

Here are two new single slot passive cards. The MSI is a 7900 GS, and the XFX is a 7950GT. The XFX I found online, but the MSI I couldn't. I like the single slot, as adding 3 PCI-E x1 capture cards should work with current motherboard options. The XFX may even fit in most cases, as the heatsink doesn't look much taller than my current Gigabyte 6600GT Passive.

Wow, a passive 7950GT?! Looks like a great card. Might have to get one.

Man that XFX is sexy. Doesn't look very HTPC case friendly though

I think it will fit in my case, but its taller than most, Silverstone LC16M. It is a nice looking card though isnt it? But I keep wondering if I should bother buying anything until DirectX 10 cards are more standard out there. Especially if DirectX 10 is going to have any impact on things like Purevideo or VC-1 & H.264.

*edit* By the way, this link: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1101993 shows some nice photos of the XFX card (in SLI mode) but gives you a good comparison to judge the height of the card. Looks like the fins and heat pipes extend about 1" above the top of card itself.
