Asus 7600GT Silent VGA Card

Does anyone know if this will fit in a 170mm tall HTPC case (LC17)? I could find *no* dimensions in any of the reviews.

Thanks,

P

I have the Gigabyte version of this card and it does not fit in an Antec Ovature case. It it about 5/8" to high and the Gigabype version is lower then your card. I have an LC03 case on order. It should be here this week. I will let you know how I make out with that. My guess is your card will not fit.

Thanks. A guy on AVS had one that barely fit in a Dvine D4, and wouldn't fit in an LC20. Since the LC17 is the same height as the LC20, it's a no-go. I'm going to go with the Dual Slot Gigabyte 7600GT Silent Pipe II. Now I'm looking for a motherboard that'll fit the dual slot card with 2 VistaViews, and a VBox 164e (when available, reviewed, and supported by Sage ) along with a Linksys 802.11g card. Not easy. The Gigabyte boards come closest, but they have a heatsink blocking one PCI-E x1 slot. This also assumes I can "Up Plug" the x1 capture cards in the PCI-E x4, 8, 16 slots. Theoretically they should all downgrade to x1...
