Audio won't work in Sagetv for HD???

I have a Sagetv server and client setup. I'm able to record just fine from the HD tuners and
Analogs. I can hear the audio from any of the OTA channels on the sagetv server just fine. But I can not on the client. But I can hear analog channels fine on the client. I cannot hear audio from dvd that I have in my imported videos section. But i can hear Music from the music that's on the sagetv server.

Does it have something to do with that it's digital sound in anyway?

My client is a Asus an8-sli deluxe with an AMD 3800 +, 1gig ram, 250gb drive. Nvidia 6600gt, nvidia pure video decoder.

I have the client connected to a plasma going out the center channel mini stero connector from the client to the tv.

I'm lost on this one.

I had the same issue, I think "Stranger" has instructions on how to change.

Sorry just can't recall how to do it exactly.

Check audio decoder filter on client. HDTV and DVD audio encoded in AC3.

Yup, sounds like a decoder issue. The easiest way to get it working is probably to use AC3Filter on the client (it's installed with Sage) for audio.

Make sure to uncheck the "normalize matrix" and "expand stereo" options on the Mixer page (in the AC3Filter settings).
