Question importing old recorded information..

hello, been using sagetv for a bit now and i love it. cant wait for the sage tv2.

but, the other day, i had a java error and had to completely reinstall the software.

my question, is there any way to reimport the recorded information back into sage? i backed up the old directory, but i dont know which files have the info. i would like to retain the file information.

i have tried searching, but couldnt find much relavent.

thanks.

Wiz.bin or wiz.bak is the file that contains that information. If you can start Sage with that origional file and have the shows in their origional location they they information should come back. If you start Sage and they are not in their origional location, Sage will update the Wiz.bin to indicate they are gone and delete the information.

Once that happens you can only access them via the Video Library.
