John,

We will not be gettign the OEM cards from Hauppauge because the card we were going to purchase has been discontinued. However, we will be getting a shipment in of PVR-250s once Hauppauge gets them back in stock and will be dropping the price significantly.

Dan or Jeff,

I have heard that having mixed cards in a computer causes problems.
I currently have 4 cards based on thhe ivac15. I am guessing that the
new PVR 250s will be based on the ivac16. Does having the ivac15
and ivac16 based cards in one computer work?

If they don't I may be better off getting a freestyle board from ebay as
I have hear that they were all based on the ivac15 and I have seen a post
on the forums that they will work with PVR 250s.

Thanks,
John

A friend of mine has a 15 and a 16 running in the same machine. With the newer drivers he has had no issues.

The Hauppauge PVR-250 is still on back-order however they are now back up in our store for sale at the new price of $120 http://store.freytechnologies.com/Me...tegory_Code=HD. If you order now, your credit card will not be charged until the card ships and we will reserve a card for you in the upcoming shipment. We expect to receive our shipment the week of October 20th. Please note that these cards are the retail version of the PVR-250 however they will not be shipped in the retail box.

Also note that we've dropped the prices of our Sage/PVR-250 bundles as well http://store.freytechnologies.com/Me...tegory_Code=SB. It's now only $190 for the Networking bundle (down from $200) and $165 for the SageTV/PVR-250 bundle (down from $175).

If you currently have an order with us the new price will be reflected when your order ships.

With the PVR-250 being sold by Frey, will you be offering the PVR-350 also?

Dan,

Might nice to see the PVR 350 when 2.0 comes out with GUI support on TV Out.
A Bundle with PVR 350 and SageTV.
Advertise it as the affordable solution that can do what the copetition can't do, run on a old PC and still be used as as a regular PC

John

Lauren,

I've been taking offline orders for PVR-350 bundles for quite some time. If anyone is interested just send an e-mail to me at info@freytechnologies.com. We will probably officially offer a new PVR-350 bundle once we support the full capabilities of the card.
