HDTV on Sage Media Extender?

I see no mention of HDTV support on the Media Extender. I assume it is not supported?

Thanks,

Rick

Rick,

Depending on the speed of your server, you can transcode HD to the MVP. Be forewarned you need a HUGE CPU. The problem is that the decoder chip built in to the MVP can't decode the HD stream.

HDTV on Sage Media Extender?

It has to transcode the HDTV? So that means that the SageTV Media Extender had a native output resolution of what? 720x480? Hmmm, I guess it may be better to build a small HTPC and go with the Sage Client then.

Thanks!

Rick
