To take this even a step further: in the past I had been using a shoutcast plugin in Meedio for listening to web radio. This plugin offered a separate menu which allowed to search the stations on shoutcast.com by genre/title/etc and add the station with the press of a button.

I realize that this would be a lot of work, just a suggestion for the future, in case you get bored ...

You fixed everything!!!!

Chris, you are soooo quick! You were able to fix multiple issues within a few minutes!

I can confirm that everything works very well! Even, when I select right arrow to show Now Playing! Even, picture being centered and large on 1080p displays! Always ON stays Always on. SageTV media player and web radio have a very nice mutually exclusive relationship. Very nice!

Chris, nice improvements!

If anybody is looking for an updated SageMC import I will try to get one out later tonight, although it may be tomorrow.

Thanks, liking it so far. I'm new to the whole web radio thing. This is my first time trying it out.
Great update! Just add the two things I mentioned above and I would say it would be perfect!!!

Thanks for making our sage experience even better.

Moving picture up a bit in position using studio..

Does anyone know where in Studio, I can move the Artist picture up in position? Currently, its at the bottom.

Image is correctly displayed, but it's just a matter of my preference to have it placed higher up; immediately below the "Back" menu option.

Open up studio with <shift><ctrl>F12. Find widget "WebRadio by koelec" in tree. Select it and use ctrl+E to expand it. Select the panel widget named picture and press ctrl+L (or properties from right button context menu). Change the Anchor Y value from 0.715 to say 0.45 and you're done.
Save modified stv by selecting Save from File menu to persist the changes.

Exclamation OHOH!!! BUG!

Chris, I don't know how I missed this. It's a very obvious issue! I first thought it was something I did in studio.

I restored my sagetv directory to exactly how it was prior to importing Web Radio 1.1 (with Web Radio 1.0)

Then, I extracted all the files from the latest Web Radio 1.1 into the appropriate directories.

After I import the web radio 1.1 STVi, SageTV's UI (Program Guide) and other screens get messed up. See attachment.

The older version doesn't do this.

That's very strange. Are you sure you started with a clean STV and then imported webradio 1.1.? Have you reverted the stv to a prior version? I have tested it like this many times. Even reimporting this stvi should also work. Tested it in combination with dynamic menus stvi, imdb search.

The first time I imported this update, I got messed up menus, guides, etc. as well. I just loaded the the stock stv and re-imported everything and it worked fine.

Chris, there's definately something wrong/different about Web Radio 1.1 stvi

I can confirm:
"Only" works with stock STV for sageTV.

When I try to load Web Radio 1.1 on top of my current STV (actually its XML), it screws up the menus.

This does NOT happwne with Web Radio 1.0 Web Radio 1.0 works with every STV i have.

Please download my STV to see what I mean:

Chris ... great update!

I also had problems with my menus after the update to the most recent version
Web Radio 1.1 stvi

I have attached a copy of my recorded program list ...several of the entries are labeled as 'FileItem'

keep up the good work!

Yes, it seems there a problem with one of the Theme widgets when I use your stv and import webradio 1.1 on top of it. Must be some kind of interference with one of the other plugins, one I don't use. I'll check it out tomorrow.
thanks,
-Chris

This little lesson got me fiddling with the stv and I was able to find and copy the volume bar from the FM Radio import to your Web Radio import. I moved the picture up and put the volume control under it. It works good enough, but the mute funtion doesn't work. And if you click on the volume slider, the volume will change but the bar will not move to new volume position. Sliding the bar controls the volume just fine though. Not sure why it doesn't work the same or as well as in the FM Radio import, but it works good eough for me. Maybe I copied something wrong.

Thanks for the little tip above. It was what got me started. Still might be somthing you want to put into a future update. It was relatively easy to do.

A possible problem is that it looks like you've imported a couple of plugins twice that maybe are not capable of being imported on top of themselves or prior versions. One is the Movie Times plugin. It doesn't look like you can do that because multiple menus and hooks for it exist in the STV you uploaded. Also looks like you've imported the RSS plugin multiple times because I see multiple hooks for that as well. However I don't see multple menus so maybe that is OK. I see the STVImported Hook for the sleep timer but it evidentally didn't complete sucessfully because it should have renamed the hook from STVImported - but it didn't. May or may-not be related to your problem with this plugin but is probably likely. I'm not sure what would happen when a STVImported hook already exists in the STV and you try to import something but I suspect it would cause problems.

Suggestion that may work for this:
Remove the entire STVImported hook from the STV in Studio and try to import this plugin again. It may very well work when you do that. Just a thought.

Thanks for taking a look at it Bob. I think, I'll wait to see what Chris finds out; since this is affecting multple people. I'm glad I at least stuck to popular plugins.

Found out that the problem only occurs when you upgrade webradio from version 1.0 to 1.1. The problem is caused by the stv code that removes the old version, i.e. it removes to much.
So, as a workaround you can either revert to a previous version of the entire stv that does not include webradio 1.0 or you start with the original stv and import all your stvi's.

Hope I can fix the problem soon.
-Chris
