FusionHDTV 5 Gold WDM drivers only <SOLVED>

I recently started trying to run SageTV on a WinXP Pro machine and I've been running into problems getting HDTV OTA to tune. It seems as though it's related to the WDM driver. I have no option during the video sources setup to turn on a BDA (? I think) driver to allow for HDTV OTA.

From threads all over the place that I've read understand that my card has essentially two sides a STDV and HDTV side. I seem to be able to get a SDTV signal, but no HDTV signal.

Using the included software I don't seem to have any problems getting several HDTV channels very clearly (above 85% signal).

Does anyone have any ideas on why I don't have two options during my video sources setup as mentioned by other in this forum? Can anyone suggest any ideas? Much thanks.

here are my specs:

MB: Asus A7N8x-E Deluxe (nForce2)
Proc: AthlonXP 2800+
Mem: Corsair 256MBx2 Dual Channel kit
Video: Nvidia GeForce FX5500 by Chaintech
Capture: DViCO FusionHDTV 5 Gold RT (with MCE remote)
HD's: 2x250GB PATA on a Promise TX2000 RAID card, 1x120GB SATA, and 40GB PATA as the system drive in Windows.

My Fusion5 Gold is listed as:

FusionHDTV, WDM Video Capture, Digital TV Tuner

I receive OTA HD fine. My mmc/ignore_encoders line is:

mmc/ignore_encoders=NVIDIA(R) nForce(TM) Audio|NVIDIA DualTV YUV Capture|FusionHDTV, AvStream Audio Capture|NVIDIA DualTV YUV Capture 2|

OK...I admit it I'm new to the whole HTPC thing!!

But can you possibly give me a clue as to what the mmc/???...etc. stuff is at and how do I check it?

EDIT: found the sage.properties file and took at look at it. Here is my mmc/ignore_encoders line

mmc/ignore_encoders=NVIDIA(R) nForce(TM) Audio|NVIDIA DualTV YUV Capture|FusionHDTV, AvStream Audio Capture|NVIDIA DualTV YUV Capture 2|

I got it working, although I'm not sure exactly how. I tried doing a un-install and re-install of SageTV and afterwards everything seems to work.

I'm using the WDM drivers that are all SageTV finds/lists. Things are a bit choppy at times, now I'f off to find out all the places to tweak for the best performance.
