Getting Intelligent Recording to un-learn

Hiya

Installed about a month ago and mostly I'm liking this SW but have a small Q :

Instead of putting sage to sleep I left it running on a TV channel and its now decided that the genre of program that was running at the time is something I like, as a result IR is now suggesting it record upcoming programs of that genre and I don't want it to !

o I know I can tell it that I dont like that program and it won't record it but its coming up with lots of suggestions.

o I don't want to turn off IR as I like the odd surprise it gives me on genres I like

o I'll put it to sleep next time ;-)

Thanks

Tim

The only way i managed to clear some IR programs was following this thread:

Personally,i now prefer to use Nielm`s STVi, which instead of directly adding to your scheduled recording list,it mearly suggests programs you may wish to record.

Hope that helps.

You can either search for the shows that were recorded by accident & then choose Past Airings, or you can view the Historical Airings of a show in the schedule, then mark the incorrectly watched ones as Don't Like and/or clear the Watched status.

BTW: you can mark/clear the Don't Like or Watched status for a whole group of shows if you highlight the group entry in the list, such as Past Airings, then use the Don't Like or Watched commands.

Thanks for the replies

I had a look under settings last night and found something to tell IR to be 'less aggresive' :-) (can't remember the exact option) and that seems to have sorted it

Cheers
