Anyone have issues with HD recording of Alias last night?

I noticed something weird with the behavior of Sage while trying to watch the HD recording of Alias last night and was wondering if anyone experienced the same problem.

Problem: Skip forward and skip backward and time bar (on the bottom) were all screwed up. I could play the whole recording through just fine without skipping, but the time bar would stop at 7:37 minutes.

I tried playing back another HD recording as well as an analog recording and they all played back correctly. The problem seemed to be specific to that episode of Alias. Unfortunately, I've deleted the episode.

I'm guessing there was something wrong with the broadcast, but I just wanted to see if anyone experienced this.

I record off of my cablebox-->firewire-->sgraphrecorder-->Sage.

You know I thought it was just me and a particular recording of 24 but the same thing happened to me. The recording would skip all over the file when I would try to FF. The timeline however would never go past 8 or 9 minutes. I would FF and it would skip 30 minutes ahead and then I could RW at it would jump back 30 sec at a time then jump 20 minutes. If I let it play straight through it was fine. It has just happened on that on file though and hasn't happened since. I am using a Vbox 150 for HD recording.
