placeshifter sans iso

I use a linux notebook and I would like to see a placeshifter client that would be usable in any linux distro. I understand that with hardware and all it is easier to tweak a distro for sage. However I think it would be great to have a placeshifter version that we could run on a linux box.

This is something they are working on. We don't have a exact date yet, but it shouldn't be too long.

One thing, if you can handle linux you shouldn't have much trouble taking the files off the iso. Search the forums for details on how this can be done.

You have a point but where can I download the iso from? I saw that I can buy it but I don't want the whole sage system, just the placeshifter for linux when it is available.
