MVP broke also

What gives. Was working beautifully for weeks then .. BLAM!! Now this did happen after I defrag my C drive. MVP boots, flashes (use to flash 3 or 4 times) once to Sage boot screen and now nothing. Have re-powered many times. Have unloaded Sage, loaded Hauppauge MVP (MVP works) unloaded Hauppauge, reloaded Sage (both 5.0 and my original 4.1.11.83) .. nothing!!!

Why did this happen???

How do we fix it?????

Zip up the clients subfolder in the SageTV directory. Then delete it and try again. If it fixes it, please send that zip file to betatest at sagetv.com.

TY Jeff, that did it. I did have to recycle the TV Service off and back on before it worked though. Well send the Zip file out.

Do I make a new clients folder now?

Should i upgrade to 5.0 or wait?

Thanks again

clients folder will be created automatically when you run the MVP.

Go ahead and upgrade. You have everything working. After the upgrade unplug the MVP for a few minutes then plug it in and go.
