Also while I'm here is there any point to the HD tick box anymore? Thinking about it, it's probably handing for people who get +1hr listings from HD channels

I understand that it is there to allow a HD tag to go through (not force).

I know that my guide data is good enough to not tag HD programs that are not on HD channels.

Maybe there could be a tick box at the top of the list that enables/disables all of the ticks?

Cheers

Feature Request

Hi Stephane, first of all thanks for your great tool - without it my Sage install would not be the same..
There is still one thing in my install, what drives me nuts..
different capitalization resp. different titles for the same show e.g. when I have two channels airing CSI NY then one airing is called CSI:NY the other CSI:New York - (another one is NUMB3RS vs. Numb3rs) so I have to manage 2 favourites with all the difficulties of this setup (different grouping, recording the same episode twice...)
You have one option to rename categories in your tool - whould that be possible also with the show titles ?
e.g. rename a Show with "CSI:NY" with "CSI:New York" during import, to follow the example above.. not shure if i can overcome this problem in any other way.. any advice would be highly welcome.

regards
hoep

Wrong Program Description being Imported

Hey Guys,

I have a situation where the program description is not being imported correctly. the Sports Program "AFL Premiership" occurs many times over the weekend at different times across different channels. On one channel it seems to pull in the description from a different time and channel.

So what I get in Sage is the correct program title at the correct time but the wrong description.

I have checked the xmltv data and that is correct, when I check Programs1.xml it seems to have the wrong description.

- I am using the donator version

Thanks for any help

Isn't Programs1.xml the xmltv data?

Not sure how the import tool works. But I have script that grabs the xmltv data into a file called xmltv.xml then the tool imports it into sage. Not sure what happens in the middle but Programs1.xml appears to be a result of the import process

Thanks

Stéphane told me he was moving this summer and was also moving his servers that were located inside his house. So I would expect the lmgestion site to be back up once he has reconnected everything in his new place.

I have also been searching endlessly for instructions on how to set this up. I'm new to Sagetv and trying to find the best option for epg importing. I'm using dvbe4sage and also noticed there is a dvbe4sage egp importer plugin but I can't find anywhere on how to set it up. Also dvbe4sage has a ProcessEPG.jar as well as dvbforepg.exe (forgot the exact name) but nowhere on the net can I find instructions on how to set it this. I've looked at the source code and noticed there is an eit.ini file but still can't figure out what to do. I would really appreciate it if someone could provide a setup guide or a least point me in the right direction. Thanks!

I recently converted from Radio times XMLTV data to digiguide XMLTV Data.

The season and episode numbers still appear in the XML e.g.

<episode-num system="xmltv_ns">4.15.</episode-num>

But do not seem to get imported using the importer

Maybe because in the radio times version for the same programme there is:

<episode-num system="xmltv_ns">4.15./24</episode-num>

Is there anything I can do to get season and episode imported?

Mine uses the same format as your new version and imports fine, so I suspect that's not the issue.
<episode-num system="xmltv_ns">7.8.</episode-num>
