Live TV Guide?

How do I make it so that whenever I push the guide button on my Silver Haugpauge remote (GO) that it always opens the guide to whatever channel I am watching. It drives me nuts when I am watching a channel, push guide and the portion of the guide that is shows me isn't even near the channel number I am actually watching.

Thanks

I just noticed that if you switch channels using the guide (IE: Selecting a show in the guide) Then the guide follows you. If you manually switch the channel by typing in a channel number and then going to the guide, the guide doesn't follow to the channel you are watching.

Is there anyway to make the guide follow you to the channel you are watching?

Thanks

I don't know for sure but I don't think so. I have gotten out of the habit of channel surfing so I actually did not notice that until you pointed it out.

I think its just people have stopped responding to questions if they don't know the answer actually Apart form me, you see, 'cos i'm afraid i dont...

i use the guide to find something i want to watch and if i do use the Cable box browse i just navigate up (or down) until i'm back in sync. I do, however, know that pressing the guide button while in the guide will take you back to the actual time - very handy if you have browsed several days ahead and can't be bothered to browse all the way back. Not that that helps you, but you seemed so upset no one had replied

Pressing the "guide" button again to bring up the current time in the guide is great.

However it does not fix my problem of the guide syching with the current channel that is being watched.

Does Jeff or Dan have any responce to this? Is there a way to do what I want, or if not will it be included in Sage Studio?

PLUS!!! A while ago I read that Sage Studio would be out in Mid September, it is now late September and there hasn't even been a beta? What time frame are we looking at now?

Thanks

I'll bet you there will be something out before or by Nov.1, when full coverage kicks in for the EPG service. That would be a very advantageous time for a beta to come out. You know..now get your TV listing for all US locations and ..Hey..by the way...look at this!. Our new version! It could happen...it could...it could. (Maybe I need to click my heels 3 times too.)

"Well...it could happen" he says, as he listens for that voice of acknowledgement.

The first limited (non-public) beta testing will begin this week.

And how does one get on this "limited beta testing" list?

Send a message via AIM to -LD
i suppose that would depend on the success or failure of the first private beta, now wouldn't it?
