Memory issues with 4.1.12
I am having some memory issues with 4.1.12. When I start SageTvService.exe and wait for it to completely load and 'settle down', it uses about 69,000K memory. I open SageTv.exe (not the client) and wait for it to fully load and my memory usage for Sage Service.exe is up to 72,000K and SageTv.exe is at 94,500K.a few hours later and the memory has increased. SageTVService is using 114,000K and SageTV.exe is using 100,000K. This will sometimes get to nearly 150,000K each.
I have 1GB memory with a AMD 2.6 processor. Does this seem normal? |

This sounds like the number I am also getting....
I guess if everybody is getting similar numbers then it could be called normal. For someone with only 512Mb of RAM though it could spell trouble.

Just done a quick check on mine - sagetvservice.exe running at 177,708 k. I've never made a note of it before but I'm pretty sure it didn't used to run this high.

That is normal. It will always get that high eventually. It depends on what Sage is doing, and what the JVM is doing. Narflex made a post not too long ago about this.

Ah ok. Is it a case of the JVM giving the memory back if other app ask for it? Not that its presenting a problem just a slightly alarming number to see.
