MediaMVP and 16:9 TV.

I am getting my first MediaMVP this week and I wanted to make sure I got it setup correctly for my Television.

I was reading that you have to set the Extender to 16:9 in the Hauppauge software for it ot display 16:9 content correctly on a 16:9 TV. Is this true?

I've not had to change anything on the MVP for 16x9. We went from a 4:3 27" direct-view set to a 16:9 50" Plasma a couple of days ago, and SageMC16x9 looks fabulous.
