HD channels not scheduling

I am having a problem with scheduling running the latest betas (.10, .11, .12)

I wanted to see if this was me or if others were experiencing this as well. I have the following tuners

2 PVR500's (2 analog, 2 svideo)
2 HDTV (Vbox 150's)

I have encoder merit set as follows

2 digital(svid) = 0
2 analog = 3
2 HDTV = 5

I originally had analog and HD with the same merit but tried this config as well. I have several HD show that are not recording and instead they are recording in SD. Unless I set the programs to record from a specific HD channel, it never schedules HD programs even if the program is in both HD and SD. It used to "prefer" HD content it would appear but has since quit doing that (I think ). If I restrict the favorite to a specific channel it works fine as I would expect it too. However, this has lead to conflicts if it tries to record more than 2 HD programs. I want to leave the defaults and let the encoder merit help select the tuners so I will not have to manually manage it. I want it to record in HD then to SD as the HD tuners become occupied unless otherwise defined.

Anyone else noticing this as well??? If this is more common I will submit a bug report and may do so anyway.
