You should be able to just temporarily switch back to the default STV, set placeshifter users and passwords, then switch back to Malore's STV.

BTW: You are going to have to switch to the default STV temporarily because the password is encrypted, so you can't just edit the properties file.

you need to switch to sagetv3.XML, not sagetv3.stv. Some older stv's don't know about xml-file-extension STVs, so will not list them in the file dialog (I don't know if this is the case with malore's). If this is the case, you will need to edit the properties file to make the STV change.

Well, I took the plunge and reloaded. I had too much junk anyway. 3 copies of commercial detect and so on. I will now only load more when I get this done and then purchase license.
For now I have user and password setup, but I can only access over LAN. When I try by NO-IP (http://xxx.xxxx.com) I get error message. From what I read I cannot access over internet within LAN? EDIT: Well I am here at clients house watching TV on my laptop. Tried both wired (best) and wireless (good). I love my SAGETV .. you guys are the best!!!!
